Yoshi's Island is a stage in Super Smash Bros. and is Yoshi's home stage. It is also a playable stage (as Past Stages: Yoshi's Island) in Super Smash Bros. Melee.

The stage has a paper and cardboard sort of look. The main platform is on a book. There are three platforms that hover above it. The bottom two are sloping inward a little bit while the top one is flat. On the left side of the stage, there is one cloud, while on the right side, there are two clouds (one near the stage while the other on the other side). The clouds will disappear after a few seconds, then reappear.
Strangely enough, during a round in Super Smash Bros.' 1P Game, the clouds on the sides of the stage are absent. A GameShark code can be entered to enable this stage without the clouds on the sides of the baseline platform.

The stage returns in Super Smash Bros. Melee as an unlockable stage, unlocked by hitting Sandbag 1,350 ft (400m) in the Home Run Contest with Yoshi.

- In Melee, Yoshi's Island is slightly larger than the original in SSB.
