[edit] What is a wing dash?
Wing dashing is an advanced technique usable only by Pit. It is the input of four moves in rapid succession to produce a motion similar to that of wavedashing, although it is more difficult to make a Wingdash go a similar distance. Wing dashing has been called on the SmashBoards 'the only must-know advanced technique' for Pit players. The summary and relevant SmashBoards thread can be found here: [1].
To preform a wing dash:
- Jump/short hop
- Wings of Icarus
- Joystick input (in the desired direction, left or right)
- Down aerial
