Star Wolf

Star Wolf (スターウルフ Sutā Urufu?) is a group seemingly formed to rival the Star Fox team. The team was hired by Andross and led by Wolf O'Donnell. They marked their first canon appearance in Star Fox 64. The members consisted of Wolf O'Donnell, Andrew Oikanny, Leon Powalski and Pigma Dengar. The group fought Star Fox multiple times in the game, failing to defeat Star Fox every time.
Nine years after the event, in Star Fox: Assault. Oikanny split the team, and led the rest of Andross' forces against the Cornerian army and was defeated. Pigma was kicked out of Star Wolf due to his greediness. And the team was "reborn" now consisting of Panther Caruso, Leon Powalski and Wolf O'Donnell.
The Star Wolf team has been viewed by some to be a group of anti-heroes instead of villians.

Similar to how Fox and Falco can talk to members of Star Fox on the Corneria and Lylat Cruise stages, Wolf can communicate with both Leon and Panther on the Lylat Cruise stage using the same method as Fox and Falco.
