Snover is a moderately-sized snow creature vaguely resembling a snow-covered fir tree. The Pokédex states it lives on snowy mountains, where it has had little contact with humans up until now, making it boldly inquisitive. In the spring, it grows berries around its belly, and the berries have the texture of frozen treats.
It is an ice-grass dual type, 4th generation Pokémon that evolves into Abomasnow, which is supposed to be the true identity of the Abominable Snowman.

Snover makes two minor appearances:

Snover appears in the background of Pokémon Stadium 2, when the stage goes through its Ice transformation. It does not affect gameplay.

- A Frost Tree Pokemon. It lives in snowy mountains and resembles a wintry peak. In the spring it grows berries that resemble ice candies. In battle it causes a storm to appearn, hides itself in fog, and then createds and launches a ball of ice as a preemptive strike. It evolves into Abomasnow.
