Snorunt is a specie of Pokémon that appears in cameo roles in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Snorunt is a small black creature in an orange cone-shaped cloak. The Pokédex explains that it lives in regions with heavy snowfall during winter seasons and deep in stalactite and stalagmite-filled caverns in other seasons. It is said that when they are seen late at night, snowfall will arrive by morning. It tends to move in groups of five Snorunt, and it survives by eating only snow and ice. It can withstand cold of -150 degrees Fahrenheit. Old folklore claims that a house visited by this specie is sure to prosper for many generations to come.
Snorunt is an Ice-type Pokémon introduced in the third Generation of Pokémon media. It evolves into either Glalie or Froslass.

Snorunt appears as a randomly collectible trophy:
- A Snow Hat Pokémon. It usually moves about in groups of around five. According to folklore, "Snorunt seen at night herald deep snow the next day," and "homes in which Snorunt reside are sure to prosper." In reality, however, the truth behind Snorunt tales lies in mystery. Male Snorunt evolve into Glalie, while females given a Dawn Stone evolve into Froslass.

Snorunt appears in the background of the stage Pokémon Stadium 2 on the ice-type field, within a cabin. It does not affect gameplay.
