Creator and owner of Smash World, Gideon started Smash World at age 13 on June 21, 1999, under the alias of Kamikaze. For a brief time he also posted under the alias of Smaug.
Nintendo Power interviewed Gideon, discussing the great scope of the competitive community Smash World started. This interview appeared in Nintendo Power Issue 195 (September 2005).
