Donkey Konga
From SmashWiki, the Super Smash Bros. wiki
Donkey Konga is a Nintendo GameCube rhythm game starring Donkey Kong, with Diddy Kong, Cranky Kong, and King K. Rool also appearing. It is intended to be played with a special controller (tarukonga) resembling two small bongo drums, although standard GameCube controllers can be used.
[edit] Gameplay
The game is played by reading a total of four drum commands (left drum, right drum, both drums, clap) from a scrolling sheet of music, and hitting accordingly. The game offers an existing composition of music. When a note is hit, the player is judged with four possible grades: Miss, Bad, O.K and Great. If notes are hit without getting a bad or a miss, combos are built up. The point of the game is to get most points possible, and as few bad and misse grades as possible. There are three levels of difficulty, Monkey, Chimp and Gorilla, the latter being the most difficult.
[edit] In Super Smash Bros. Brawl
The drums, or bongos, that first appeared in this game as the controller, are used in D.K.'s final smash and the strenght differs depending on wether the player hits the drums at the right time or not, similar to the scoring system in Donkey Konga.
